Senior Move Coordination
Senior move coordination, start to finish.
A planned, phased move to a smaller home or a senior community — floor plan to first night's bed made.

Definition
Senior move coordination is the planning and management of an older adult's move from a long-lived-in home into a smaller residence or senior living community. It covers space planning for the new home, deciding what comes, routing everything that does not through the Disposition Pathway, managing the move itself, and setting up the new home so it is livable on night one.
This is for you if…
- A parent is moving to a smaller home or a senior community, and the house holds forty years of decisions.
- You live too far away to do this in weekends, or close enough that it has quietly become your whole life.
- There is a date on the calendar — a closing, a move-in, a discharge — and no plan behind it.
This is not for you if…
You want the house emptied fast and are not concerned about what goes where. That is a legitimate need, and there are companies that do it well. It is not this.
What we handle
The work, in detail.
- Space planning against the new floor plan, so decisions are made against real measurements rather than hope.
- The Edit — what comes, decided with the person whose home it is, at their pace.
- Full Disposition Pathway for everything staying behind: gift, sell, donate, responsibly dispose.
- Movers scheduled, briefed, supervised, and answerable to us.
- Unpack and setup — beds made, kitchen functional, medications and eyeglasses findable before we leave.
- The old home left broom-clean and ready for market or handover.
Every line above reflects what we deliver on a typical engagement. If your situation needs something not listed, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can.
The E.P.I.C.™ Method
Order by design, the sequence does the work.
Hard work alone never kept a home organized — the system underneath it does. E.P.I.C.™ is a sequence everyone agrees on before the first drawer opens, applied to every space we touch, from a single shelf to a whole home. Decide what matters, release the rest, label what stays, and give it a home you can find six months from now.
Edit — decide what matters.
Before anything moves, we surface what stays. Not what is valuable, not what is useful — what matters, to the person whose home this is. Editing first is what keeps the rest of the project from becoming an argument. Nothing is discarded at this stage. Nothing is even bagged.
Purge — release the rest, without regret.
Only once the keeps are settled do we deal with the remainder, and every item of it enters the Disposition Pathway below. Purging after editing rather than before is why our clients do not lie awake wondering what went in the truck.
Identify — label, document, assign.
Everything that stays gets named and assigned: what it is, where it goes, and who it belongs to. For estates, this is where the inventory and the distribution record are built — the document that keeps siblings talking to each other next Thanksgiving.
Contain — give it a home you can find.
The last stage, and the one everyone else does first. Containers chosen for the person's actual reach, eyesight, and habits — not for how the shelf photographs. A system that only works when someone is watching is not a system.

One Named Coordinator. Zero Vendor Chaos.
You don't need seven phone numbers or a weekend spreadsheet. We plan the work, manage the trades, and protect the person whose home it is every step of the way.
Three steps, always in this order.
A confidential conversation.
Thirty minutes, no charge, no obligation. You tell us the situation. We tell you honestly whether this is a project, a phase, or something you can handle yourselves — and if it is a project, you are talking to the team that has done it more than anyone else.
The Working Assessment.
We walk the home and deliver a written plan — phases, sequence, timeline, and a Disposition Pathway for the contents, built on the patterns of 3,000+ homes. It is yours whatever you decide next.
The work, in phases.
Scoped and quoted in writing before we begin. Run through E.P.I.C.™, one area at a time, with a single credentialed coordinator who does not change on you — and standards no other firm in the region can match.
